Clinical Psychologist

Kiri is a dedicated psychologist registered with The Australian Health Practicing Regulation Agency (AHPRA), bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her practice. With a diverse background spanning various sectors of mental health, Kiri has worked in community-based services, school mental healthcare, crisis-intervention, hospital-based settings, and government organisations.

Driven by a deep-seated passion for fostering emotional well-being, Kiri approaches her work with warmth, compassion, and inclusivity. She firmly believes in the importance of tailoring psychological services to meet the unique needs of each individual, recognising that one size does not fit all in matters of mental health. Kiri uses an integrative approach to therapy employing different therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Schema Informed Therapy. Kiri is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

For Kiri, the cornerstone of effective mental health support lies in being evidence based, culturally aware, and client led. She is committed to staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field, ensuring that her interventions are grounded in sound scientific principles while remaining sensitive to the diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives of her clients.

Above all, Kiri places a premium on upholding the dignity and autonomy of her clients. She approaches her work with a deep respect for the inherent worth and agency of each individual, empowering them to take an active role in their own healing journey.

With Kiri, clients can expect not just a therapist but a trusted ally and advocate in their pursuit of mental well-being. Whether navigating through challenging times or striving for personal growth, she stands ready to provide unwavering support every step of the way.

If she is not spending time with her friends and family she enjoys cooking up a storm, playing chess, or heading out snorkelling. If Kiri can squeeze in attending an AFL game or two, she’s pretty happy.
