Medicare rebates

You may be able to get a rebate for psychology services. To obtain a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. A mental health treatment plan currently entitles you to a rebate for up to 10 session in a calendar year. Full payment will be required on the day and the rebate will be paid to your account by Medicare following the processing of the claim.

You will need to bring a referral from your GP to your first appointment, along with your mental health treatment plan. A mental health treatment plan can take some time for your GP to prepare, so please inform your GP clinic when booking your appointment, so they can ensure enough time is allocated. Please check that your referral is dated and signed by your GP, otherwise the rebate cannot be applied.

Please note: Medicare only cover the treatment of certain conditions. Your GP can discuss these with you and provide you with a valid referral where appropriate.

NDIS

We accept NDIS - self managed clients for counselling and psychology. Please contact us to discuss your support needs and the relevant fee.

Victims of Crime

We provide support to clients who are seeking to access support through the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal and can work with you and your lawyer to apply for funding for counselling and psychological treatment and support.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of the appointment via credit card, direct bank transfer or cash.

Cancellation

Commitment to your treatment is important for improvement in your wellbeing. We value your time as well as our own. We strive to offer timely appointments to those who are waiting for treatment and support. For these reasons, we apply a cancellation fee for any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or not attended without informing us. A cancellation fee of 50% will be incurred and will need to be paid by the next appointment.
